Ontara Project

For many Stone Masons the lure of the ancient world is what makes us tick. Through our work we connect with that which interests us, Castles, Cathedrals, Temples, Pyramids, Sculptures, Megalithic ruins and so on..... On one rare occasion I was commissioned to create a very special project in a rural part of BC Canada, one that would test all my being, physically, mentally and spiritually too. The main aspect of the project was to create a one of a kind unique structure that would be specifically aligned with the cardinal directions, using the Vesica Pisces, and other sacred geometrical aspects that can be seen in the final picture. In the center was a six petaled rose feature and a specially chiseled basalt column pedestal that was to house a giant Smokey Quartz crystal. This was achieved by taking a plaster cast mold of the bottom of the crystal , and then again recreated the male from the female mold. The stone was chiseled meticulously until the model fit perfectly. The six petaled rose was based on the original interpretation of the Lords prayer, and star tetrahedrons and other references we incorporated into the overall design to "switch this thing on". Of course I am only giving you the quick version here, there are some things I can't go into about it all, but let me just say that it was a very uplifting experience! If you really want to know more then connect by email, and we can get into it a little more.
